Privacy Policy
pcGauge ("we", "us", "our") is an independently developed and operated desktop system-monitoring application for Windows, published on the Microsoft Store under the name Joycode. This policy explains what information is collected when you use pcGauge or visit pcgauge.com, and how that information is handled.
1. Information the app collects
pcGauge runs entirely on your computer. It reads hardware metrics (CPU, GPU, memory, network, and disk statistics) from your local system and displays them in desktop widgets.
- pcGauge does not transmit hardware metrics, telemetry, or usage data to any server.
- pcGauge does not create user accounts or require sign-in.
- pcGauge does not set cookies or use local tracking of any kind.
Your system data stays on your device.
2. Information the website collects
Support page and feedback form
The dedicated support page includes an embedded feedback form powered by Tally. When you submit the form, Tally collects whatever information you provide, such as your message and any contact details you include. That data is stored on Tally's servers and shared with us so we can respond.
Tally's own privacy policy is available at tally.so/help/privacy-policy.
Support email
If you email support@joycode.org, we receive your email address and message content. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and do not add you to any mailing list.
Web fonts
The website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google may receive your IP address and standard browser metadata. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Hosting
The website is a static site. The hosting provider may log standard access data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for operational and security purposes. We do not run any first-party analytics or tracking scripts.
3. Cookies
The pcGauge landing page does not intentionally set cookies. Third-party services used on specific pages, such as the Tally form on the support page, may set cookies or use similar technologies according to their own policies.
4. Microsoft Store
pcGauge is distributed through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft may collect data related to app downloads, installations, and updates according to the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We do not have access to individual purchaser identities through the Store.
5. Children's privacy
pcGauge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Data retention
Support emails and support-page form submissions are retained for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, then deleted. We do not maintain a customer database.
7. Your rights
If you have submitted personal information through the support page form or email and would like it corrected or deleted, contact us at support@joycode.org and we will process your request promptly.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page. Continued use of the website or application after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
